The Service Auction is the largest fund-raising event for Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Church.
But just as importantly, it is a FUN-raiser, helping to bring Northwoods people together all year long.
When you sign up for dinners, parties, classes, hikes, or contests, you get to know others in small groups and informal settings.
Service Auction events are the SECRET SAUCE of friendships at Northwoods!

There will be opportunities to participate in open sign up events all year long. Keep an eye out! Every time you join a Sign Up event, our net income increases – have fun, support Northwoods, and most importantly, spend time with like-minded friends!

Get Happy Being Blue! Come join Rusty, Takis and Susan the Black at Willie and Molli’s place for the most fun you’ve ever had being blue! Blue beverages, a “Blue Food Challenge,” and live blues music! Event in The Woodlands. DATE: Saturday, March 29, 2025 – 6:30 PM. Treasure Chest Game: Try your luck! Your entry fee gets you a key. There will be several pirate treasure chests there. If your key opens one, you will win whatever prize is inside, with a chance for a grand prize for all entries! Event in the Sanctuary. DATE: Sunday, March 30, 2025—noon. Sacred Circles and Divine Doodles: Using art pens and watercolors, we will create beautiful, personalized stationery by exploring the art of sacred circles. The techniques are very easy, and might just become your favorite new ways to doodle! Light snacks provided. Bring your own wine or bubbly if you desire. BYOB event at Northwoods. Whisky, Art, and Chocolate. Rusty has some really fine art to share, stories to tell, and whisky that will go perfectly with it. He’ll even start with a short talk on the fine art of malted whisky. Fun at the Lake! Cornhole, Crossnet, & Concert! Join us for an unforgettable evening of games, food, and live music on Lake Conroe! What’s Happening? * Cornhole Tournament * Crossnet Matches (It’s volleyball with a twist!) * Live Concert by Zachary Pierce to close out the evening! Gourmet Hotdogs will be served. BYOB!
