In this church we believe:

Love is love.

For 25 years we have worked hard to make sure lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people are full members of our faith communities. Being welcoming means striving for radical inclusion, and creating spaces that honor every part of our identities, backgrounds, and experiences.

Black lives matter

We covenant to affirm and promote: journeying toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.

Climate change is real.

Our Unitarian Universalist (UU) spiritual values call us to act on the personal, local, and national levels to adopt practices that will reverse global warming/climate change, and to do so in ways that are just and equitable.

No human being is illegal.

The Sanctuary Movement is a growing movement of faith and immigrant communities doing what Congress and the Administration refuse to do: protect and stand with immigrants facing deportation. Members pledge to protect immigrant families who face workplace discrimination or unjust deportation.

All genders are whole, holy, and good.

As Unitarian Universalists, we celebrate the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We affirm the diversity of gender and work to create communities where people of all/no genders are free to be themselves.

Women have agency over their bodies.

Unitarian Universalists have declared unequivocally that we support every person’s right to make decisions about their own bodies and reproductive health. As part of a liberatory Reproductive Justice movement, we affirm our commitment to building a world in which all people are able to make choices about their bodies, their health, and their families within safe, thriving communities.
