Arts and Entertainment

Saturday, August 29, 2026 – 6:30 pm.
A party in the grand tradition of Arts in Action, which we haven’t held in a couple of years. Entertainment–musicians, poets, storytellers, even a few of the best videos of the COVID years. And then there is the famous Art Dash. More than 50 pieces of art, each worth much more than the $40 ticket. If you buy one of these tickets, you get to dash. When your name is called, you can claim any of the pieces still hanging on the wall. A great event that we just had to bring back, even if it’s not quite the same. We’re providing art, entertainment, and non-alcoholic beverages. You’re bringing a dish to share–appetizers or desserts, BYOB if desired, and your enthusiasm for the arts and artists of Northwoods. 2nd Annual Sing Your Heart Out Karaoke
It’s karaoke time—again! Bring your favorite song titles, we’ll provide the music, and you can step into the spotlight as your favorite artist (or just warm up those vocal cords and sing loud and proud).
